If you crave chinese food, this is recommended in Queenstown. Very reasonably priced and big portion. There were 6 of us and ate till really full. Sweet and sour pork is very delicious. Lamb pot is uniquely cooked. Black bean stir fry squid is excellent. Everything is nice, but place is packed with tourists that come in coaches.

Wow, just wow. I haven’t had food like this since I was in Shenzen back in my teenage years. Walking in seeing the NZ seafood really helps encapsulate the authenticity of the New Zealand culture. The Chinese routes are shown throughout the dishes and exasturbated through the kind staff. Xie xie

We have fond memories of "memories of Hong Kong" which used to be in this location, some time back. So when we arrived in QT after 6 years and found this place in the same spot we had to try it. It was good. We enjoyed the meal so much, we booked again for the next night. Traditional Chinese food seems to be not well understood in NZ and it can be hard to find. We enjoyed both meals...very happy to find good Chinese food.

Some of the Food are below par for us, the beef are chewy hard to bite, ask for extra tea pot for a big grup, but never came. Ask for a water jar, when they gave us, never give the glasses, Kind of confusing ehh.. 😅

Flavours of the sauces in the dishes are quite heavy but tasty. For example, If you are going after lamb chops and wanted to taste the natural flavours of the lamb, then lamb in black pepper sauce wouldn’t work. Overall a decent place for Chinese food.
